The Cause:
Twenty years ago Coprodeli worked to feed the children—partnering with charitable organizations to provide basic meals for a community. Today, Coprodeli is responding to the hunger of thousands of children and community members—we need more than food, we need a sustainable food system!
Proceeds earned from the event will go towards expanding nutrition programs and developing agriculture projects to benefit over 5,000 students and 20,000 community members, and growing.
The Event:
A Sunday afternoon at the Chopping Block with friends and Coprodeli; raising funds for nutrition projects in Peru, while enjoying the best of Chicago! Participate in cooking classes, watch a cooking demonstrations, or just enjoy delicious hors' d oeuvres by some of Chicago's best chefs--from empanadas to gelato sandwiches, and everything in between! Participate in an exclusive wine tasting with Chicago's top sommelier--rare and fabulous wines from around the world for you to enjoy! Learn the complexities behind beer, during an exclusive craft beer tasting with a Certified Cicerone. A raffle and very unique auction will allow for you to help us reach our goal to furnish a cafeteria for 300 students! Bring your friends and family, and enjoy a delectable afternoon with Coprodeli!

You can also sample the flavors behind the craft beer movement. Certified Cicerone James Miller will guide you through a tasting of local craft beer varieties, and change the way you think - and taste - beer. Two Brothers, Metropolitan, and Goose Island.
Local craft beer and exclusive wines will complement the afternoon's festivities & hors' d oeuvres.
